Berg Shinjuku

Back in Berg again this week. Edel Pils large and a pint of Minoh Stout!

 

Kamakura

 It wasn't too hot yesterday so I went down to Kamakura. Of course, I had a couple of beers! Starting with Shonan Beer golden ale and a couple of sausages, then Shonan IPA, Kamakura Beer IPA and a bottle of Shonan!

Crisps!

Spring Valley

 Apparently, this was leftover from 1870!

Red Star

 My local mini supermarket has tins of Red Star! Yum!

 

New limited beer

 Some new type of Kirin Ichiban. Ichiban is usually too sweet for me!

Berg Shinjuku

 I always enjoy going to Berg for an afternoon Edel Pils, Ebisu Black and pork aspic!

 

Spam, spam, spam

 Okinawa FamilyMart limited crisps! Spam flavour! I don't like Spam!

Orion "craft" beers

 Okinawa Orion beer are dabbling in different styles. They now have a lager and an IPA. I found both to be cloying. I much prefer their regular beers!

Ishigaki Island

 There are two breweries on Ishigaki Island and they are so far apart in quality. The first one I went to was Ishigakijima Beer Studio Against the Grain, situated very near my hotel. They are based on US styles with a lot of fruit beers. Basically they are bloody awful, well, the golden ale and pale ale I tried were! They tasted very chemically and were not at all true to style.

The other brewery is Ishigakijuma Beer and they are German based. I found an outlet in a shopping mall that served a draught tasting set for 1,200 yen. One was a Weizen style, the other was a lager and the third was a dunkel! They were much better with no funky off flavours! I will take a taxi up to the brewery pub before I leave!

 Another limited beer found at My Basket, this time from Sapporo Beer!

Mini PC

 So, I got a mini PC to replace my ageing laptop! It's a Beelink Mini S12 Pro! Not bad specs for the price either! This thing is just so small!

 This is a limited beer from Life Supermarket made by Ise Kadoya Brewery!
